As a parent and grandparent the news of the tragedy of Friday, Dec. 14, 2012 at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Ct. saddens me beyond belief. It make me think of how fragile our lives are and how much we must be aware of each and every moment — to say I love you, to give a hug, to give a kiss, to give comfort, to give joy.

It’s ironic that the topic for my blog is change, as the wrath of hurricane Sandy certainly created change for so many – Change that we couldn’t control, but prepared for it as best we could. Barring any catastrophes’ change can be a good thing if change is made by choice. However it can also create emotional chaos.
